Castleton University Habitat for Humanity Club
Castleton University - Over the years they have organized build days with three area affiliates; Adison County, Bennington County and Rutland County. In addition, they have raised funds so that members can take a week of their spring vacation to travel south to spend a week building with another affiliate.
In 2016 they made a very generous financial contribution to the Habitat for Humanity affiliate that serves Rutland County.
Stafford Tech - In the fall of 2016, students from Stafford Tech spent a day installing a Heat Pump at the home we renovated in Fair Haven. They learned a lot and did a great job.
We hope other educational intuitions will follow the example set by the Castleton University and Stafford Tech students and will become involved and invested in helping Habitat for Humanity Affiliates serve their community. There is no end of the ways that students can apply what they are learning in schools to help Habitat affiliates.
